"Blink Twice" Movie Review

First up, thanks to another wonderful pre screening opportunity extended to us at Flynn’s, I got to watch the directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz, #BlinkTwice. Starring her fiancé #ChanningTatum and #NaomiAckie, who were accompanied by an extensive cast that also included Adria Arjona, Christian Slater, Gina Davis, and many more.

A suspenseful thriller, that’s R rating should not be taken lightly, as some disturbing and intense themes are major factors within the story, that are visually displayed as well. Channing Tatum as such a dark and disturbed individual after some recent extremely light hearted appearances in other films, will throw you back a bit. Not the best pacing. And for myself, the very ending didn’t really drive it home.

But a very unique concept in certain aspects, and for some audiences, will resonate in thematic symbolism and messaging, while providing moments of humor and intense reveals for all. Not needed on the big screen, and on the Omega Cafecito scale, hitting a not the greatest, Single Shot of Cafecito. Reflecting a value of giving it a try, and deciding for yourself, in theaters or later on stream.
